Lucidity Australia continue Investing In Australia!

Being a specialised lighting and wire harness manufacturer, Lucidity Australia’s wire harness capability is getting a massive boost this year. Lucidity Australia has invested just over half a million dollars this year alone on specialised wire harness processing equipment. This year saw the delivery of our second Ultrasonic splice welder from Schunk in Germany, new test Equipment from WEETECH in Germany for wire harness continuity testing and most recently, from Komax in Switzerland the new Alpha 550 cable processing centre. All of these items are part of the continuous improvement and expansion plans for Lucidity Australia, building on their solid foundation of 22 years of manufacturing here in Australia. Equipment such as this enables faster turnaround times, and a greater opportunity for accuracy and enhanced product capability which lead to enhanced customer satisfaction.
Lucidity’s customer base spans many industrial sectors, all of which have had significant growth over the past 2 years. It has been vital in supporting our increasing customer base that this level of investment has been made. All customers are seeking shorter lead times, and higher demands on product performance with new technology to provide differentiation, so that’s what we have done.
Lucidity Australia has seen substantial growth with the introduction of the Lucidity Link range which is one of the leading products supporting manufacturers and end users. The products are designed specifically for the Australian market and are robust and easy to fit, but at the same time offer the manufacturers complete flexibility in a custom design adding more lighting without the need for the specially made wiring harness. Such is the growth in this segment our expansion supports this sector directly.
That’s this year’s investment summarized, so looking ahead to next year and beyond, further growth has identified a similar level of investment in areas of warehousing, engineering and additional production equipment.
